I began my career as a targeting analyst with the United States Army. That path eventually took me to Syria, and Iraq working alongside Special Mission Units to track and dismantle ISIS networks. That real world experience pushed me to start building tools that could match the complexity of the problems I was solving.
As AI and hardware began advancing together, I turned my analytical background toward something new, teaching myself to build deep learning models from scratch. Not the AI that summarizes documents or generates images. AI that genuinely reasons. That weighs competing signals, adapts to uncertainty, and helps humans make consequential decisions with confidence. Using the analytical frameworks I built across years of operational work, I developed a proprietary algorithm. One that enables complex, multi-variable decision-making and lets users build their own agentic AI systems tailored to their specific mission.
Talon Neural Systems operates on two tracks. Defense and medical research. Different missions on the surface, but the same core at the heart of both. Serving the veteran community. Whether that means building technology that protects warfighters in the field or restoring capability to those living with permanent medical conditions after service, our research aims to solve the most challenging problem sets
Every contract we win, every breakthrough we achieve moves us closer to something larger: the Talon Institute. A permanent research institution where veterans don't just receive help, they help build and oversee the solutions. Where operators work alongside engineers.
Kobani, Syria 2017. Standing before the statue of Arin Mirkan, a Kurdish mother of two who, surrounded and out of ammunition during the 2014 ISIS siege, detonated explosives to save her fellow fighters rather than be captured. She fought alongside U.S. / Kurdish forces to defeat ISIS and deserves to be remembered by every American we honor her, and so many others who fought for liberation.
